Mr. White is a free pass-and-play party game of bluffing and social deduction that runs entirely in the browser. One device is passed around the table, everyone gets to see a private card, and the group has to work out who is lying.
Who gets what
- Civilians all share the same secret word.
- Undercovers each receive a slightly different word, so they can blend into the group without knowing the real one.
- Mr. White receives no word at all and has to bluff through the whole game.
How a round works
- The host enters the players' names and chooses how many Undercovers and how many Mr. White take part.
- Everyone agrees on a word category, or plays with the full word list.
- The device is passed around. Each player holds to reveal their private card, reads it and passes it on.
- In turn order, every player gives one clue about their word. The clue has to describe the word without saying it.
- The table talks about who seems suspicious and votes to eliminate one player.
- The eliminated player's role is revealed. Undercovers and Mr. White keep playing, Civilians keep their word.
- The round ends when every infiltrator is out, or when the Undercovers and Mr. White are equal in number to (or outnumber) the remaining Civilians.
- If Mr. White is eliminated, they get one final guess at the Civilians' word. A correct guess wins the game on the spot.
Winning conditions
- Civilians win when every Undercover and Mr. White has been eliminated.
- Undercovers and Mr. White win together if they survive until they match or outnumber the Civilians.
- Mr. White wins instantly by guessing the secret word after being eliminated.
Good to know
- It works for 3 to 20 players on a single shared device, so a phone is enough for a big table.
- There is nothing to download and no account to create.
- The game is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
- It is available in ten languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.
